According to the following Democrats Saddam Hussein was never involved in terrorism.

Madeline albright : "I never believed in the link between Saddam Hussein ... and Islamic terrorism."

Senator Ted Kennedy : "Iraq was not a breeding ground for terrorism".

Senator John Kerry : "Iraq was not a terrorist haven".

The above comments are not based on fact. Because the facts show that Saddam Hussein provided terrorists with cash, diplomatic immunity, safe haven, training facilities, medical aid and links to Al Qaeda. Lets cut the baloney and just list some of the terrorist incidents that involved Saddam Hussein.

2000 thru 2003 Cash - Saddam paid Palestinian homicide bombers $25000 per family to blow themselves up on the streets of Israel. From the time Saddam began payments to these terrorists and the launch of Iraqi Freedom, 28 homicide bombers injured 1,209 people and killed 223 more, including at least eight Americans. One of those Americans was Abigail Litle, the daughter of a Baptist minister, she was just 14 years old when she was killed on an Israeli bus on March 5, 2003. The cash for these terrorist attacks was handed out to families at ceremonies where banners proclaimed the friendship of the PLO’s Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein.

1985 Diplomatic Immunity - The infamous Abbu Abbas highjacked a cruise ship, held 400 passengers hostage for two days and killed a Jewish passenger. After the highjacking he attempted to flee aboard an Egypt Air jet bound for Tunisia. However his flight was intercepted by American fighter jets and forced to land in Sicily. Italian officials took him into custody. But Abbas possessed the ultimate get-out-of-jail card: An Iraqi diplomatic passport. He was allowed to fly to Yugoslavia under Iraqi diplomatic immunity and a few years later ended up in Baghdad. Another notable terror attack masterminded by Abbas resulted in the murder of Danny Haran (age 28) and his two daughters, Einat (4) and Yael (2) in April 1979 in their Nehariya, Israel home.

1999 Safe haven - Abu Nidal a terrorist mastermind with a documented history of terrorist attacks in 20 countries resulting in over 400 murders and almost 800 casualties. He was known for his brutality and savagery. He was responsible for the simultaneous attack at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport and Vienna’s airport, killing 19 people. Among the five Americans that Abu Nidal murdered that day was John Buonocore III, a 20-year-old Fairleigh Dickinson College student who had studied in Rome that fall semester. Buonocore was shot in the back while checking in for his flight home. He had hoped to return to Wilmington, Delaware to help his father celebrate his 50^th birthday. This beast killed dozens of Americans while Saddam Hussein gave him safe haven in Iraq between 1999 and 2002.

1990s thru 2002 Training facilities - During Iraqi Freedom Coalition forces shut down at least three terrorist training camps in Iraq. The most notorious of these was the base at Salman Pak, about 15 miles southeast of Baghdad. Before the war, numerous Iraqi defectors said the camp featured a passenger jet on which terrorists sharpened their air piracy skills. A former Iraqi army captain who worked at Salman Pak granted an interview to PBS television. He stated The camp specialized in exporting terrorism world wide." and added: "Training included hijacking of airplanes, trains and public buses, planting explosives in cities and preparing for suicide operations. He continued: "We saw people trained to hijack airplanes...They were even trained how to use eating utensils as weapons, like forks and knives provided for in flight meals." Does that sound familiar?

2002 Medical aid - After running an al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan, Abu Musab al Zarqawi traveled to Baghdad, where he checked into Olympic Hospital, an elite facility run by the late Uday Hussein. Zarqawi is believed to have received medical treatment for a leg injury sustained while dodging American GIs who toppled the Taliban. He convalesced in Baghdad for some two months. Once he was back on his feet, Zarqawi then opened an Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp in northern Iraq. Zarqawi is thought to be behind the October 2002 assassination of American, Lawrence Foley. Zarqawi was a member of al-Qaeda.
